Takashi Murakami, "Superflat", El artista más famoso de Japón. (opinión)

Hace ya un tiempo que buscaba el momento para hablar de este extraordinario y rompedor artista, considerado como el heredero de una nueva visión del POP-art después de Warhol y Koons. Este artista es fuente actual de inspiración de muchísimos otros creadores y posiblemente el más famoso artista contemporáneo en Japón, Takashi Murakami, ha logrado fusionar el merchandasing y el arte como un nuevo concepto, sus obras de clara inspiración manga triunfan por todo el mundo y vende su exitosa obra por precios desorbitados. Personalmente, y como gran amante del manga y del anime que soy, desde que vi su obra en televisión hace un par de años quedé prendido de su estilo e influencia otaku.






 









La obra de Murakami es mega-colorista y tremendamente alegre, es vibrante, es brillante.. es "Superflat". Qué es "Superflat"? Es el nuevo estilo artístico inventado por Murakami de influencia manga y anime, que utiliza estas dos ramas de la cultura japonesa para hacer una crítica a la sociedad consumista actual.


Murakami para mi es un genio porque detrás de esas flores coloristas sonrientes que hace, y esos personajes de su imaginación que són aparentemente felices y optimistas, detrás de esos ojos grandísimos y de colores, se esconde una dura crítica hacia el comportamiento excéntrico y superficial de la sociedad, en este caso la japonesa.

  
Murakami nos dice en sus obras que esta sociedad está enferma, todos esos colores son apariencias no reales. E irónicamente son esta sociedad a la que llama enferma la que lo siguen con más fervor y es que a parte de la profundidad significativa de su obra, esta resulta tremendamente atractiva y más aun si te gusta el manga.
